Job Description

Make a meaningful difference by supporting students in an engaging K-12 school-based setting. This opportunity offers a contract position spanning the 2026-2027 academic year, with placements beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 2027. Two skilled Occupational Therapists are needed to work across both elementary and high school sites, managing a diverse caseload of between 30 and 40 students. The role is full-time, with an anticipated 35-37.5 hour work week, providing the chance to collaborate closely with students, staff, and families.

Key Qualifications:

Current Occupational Therapist license
Experience in a school environment is preferred
Comfort working with a wide K-12 age range
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work between two schools with elementary and high school students
Commitment to supporting all students' educational and functional goals
Open to flexible placement arrangements

Role Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and implement interventions tailored to each student's needs
Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Deliver direct therapy sessions to individuals and small groups
Maintain detailed records of progress and communicate with parents, teachers, and staff
Serve students across two school sites, with a varied caseload encompassing elementary and high school grades
Adapt services and interventions as needed throughout the academic year
