This is an entry level position that is responsible for the safe operation of a forklift in order to stock all lumber and building materials. Perform duties within the established work and safety procedures.What you will do: • Operate safely. • Participate in a positive work environment. • Assist warehouse associates and direct supervisor in maintaining an organized work environment. • May include, emptying trash receptacles, and keeping all bays and staging areas clean and organized. • Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials. • Provides Excellent Customer Service. • Count and record receipt of materials. • Stock all material received in appropriate bins or storage locations. • Assist inventory control in counting and organizing warehouse materials. • Comply with all company policies and guidelines. • Operate forklift with foot and hand controls. • May use forklift to build outgoing orders or to load completed orders onto delivery equipment. • Operate facility equipment as necessary (e.g. bander, power tools, various hand tools). • Monitor inventory as required by location management. • Retain an awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to produce error free and damage free results. • Participate in and complete assigned trainings. • Other duties as assigned by Management.Required For All Jobs: • Perform other duties as assigned. • Comply with all policies and standards. • Adheres to Company’s commitment to workplace safety.Education Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED required.Experience Qualifications: • No experience Required Skills and Abilities: • Ability to do basic math, read orders, write instructions and complete forms. • Ability/willingness to learn to read a tape measure. • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, other employees, and supervisors using verbal and written skills. • Ability to deal constructively with conflict and recognize potential problems. • Proficiency with or ability to learn current technologies (e.g. Smartphone, Inventory Control Systems, and other necessary business applications).Additional Potential Opportunities based on experience: • Yard/Warehouse II • Yard/Warehouse Lead

Travel General Laborer Nights $18
SPAR is growing our overnight construction team! We are hiring full-time laborers who is hard working and reliable. Willing to travel for extended periods of time and work nights 9pm to 6am. Must be willing to learn and know your way around a tool box. Your traveling team will be working inside home improvement retail chains, building, dealing with heavy steel racking and pallet racking.
Becoming a Racking Team Member is a prerequisite to the Senior Lead position.

What You’ll Do: 
<ul>
<li>Very physical construction work</li>
<li>Work overnights remodeling big box retail stores</li>
<li>Remove and replace damaged steel racking including cantilever towers</li>
<li>Move product from old to new pallet racking</li>
<li>Building and assembling retail store shelving fixtures</li>
<li>Update Signage, Shelf Conditions and Schematics Completion</li>
<li>Engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnights 9PM - 6AM</li>
<li>Must be able to take direction regarding tagging, rotating and placing products on shelf</li>
<li>Comfortable climbing ladders and working 20 feet off the ground as needed</li>
<li>Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.</li>
<li>Experience in using basic hand and power tools (must provide own hardhat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)</li>
<li>Strong teamwork and communication skills</li>
<li>Knowledge/ability to use basic tools necessary for the job</li>
<li>Ability to work in Team environment</li>
<li>Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, </li>
<li>Personal cell is required and valid email address.</li>
<li>Professional appearance and demeanor</li>
<li>Appropriate work footwear is required to be worn on the jobsite</li>
