DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for providing outstanding CUSTOMER SERVICE. • Unpacks, catalogs and confirms parts and pieces are accounted for • Installs new equipment in location designated by customer. • Realigns and adjusts components such as spindles and clutches. • Installs and repairs electronic components of machinery of equipment. • Start machines and equipment to test operations following repair. • Drills through concrete and building walls • Responsible for record keeping and reporting of work orders, parts, supplies ordering, and following a daily agenda. • Travel involving overnight lodging may be required • Treats company equipment (i.e. vehicle, tools, phone, tablet, credit card, and parts) as if they were their own and follows maintenance guidelines on company provided vehicle. • Performs additional duties, tasks, responsibilities, as a supervisor may, from time to time, deem necessary. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); good mechanical aptitude/skills. • Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit who operates business within the framework of each customer’s business structure. • Good driving record. • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Excellent time-management skills. LANGUAGE SKILLS • Possesses excellent communication skills; both verbal and written with ability to communicate effectively to customers. REASONING ABILITY • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. PHYSICAL DEMANDS • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally required to drive long hours. • The associate is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel or crouch; talk or hear and taste or smell. • The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT • Travel up to an average of 300 miles per day • Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. MISCELLANEOUS • Typically, Monday through Friday. Weekends and after hour work is possible provided customer is willing to pay emergency rates. On call status ends at 11 am EST on weekends and holidays

Job Description Summary: 
Field Service Technician will be assigned a truck and travel daily to customer job sites to repair and maintain equipment. This role requires experienced, responsible technicians who can diagnose and repair equipment working independently. The technician will troubleshoot/diagnose equipment problem and perform repair work on a wide variety of equipment.
<ul>
<li>Repair types can include: complete machine overhauls, minor repairs such as fixing leaks, changing fluids and filters, rebuild components such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic pumps.</li>
<li>Diagnostics can include: check pressures, check voltage, locate source of noise or vibration.</li>
<li>Field Technician will disassemble machine, order parts, make repairs, assemble machine, check machine operation to make sure repairs are complete and confirm problem is fixed and is work ready.</li>
</ul>
Technician will use Anderson’s systems to document workorders, track progress of repairs and order parts. Focus on safety protocols and regulations must be maintained at all times.
Required Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent with a two year Technical degree or comparable military training;</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years work experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance;</li>
<li>Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of equipment operations, mechanical functions, electrical and hydraulic systems;</li>
<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with other technicians or independently, while out in the field;</li>
<li>Proficiency with computers and diagnostic programs provided by manufacturers.</li>
<li>Ownership of adequate hand tools.</li>
<li>Must have valid Driver’s License, CDL is preferred.</li>
</ul>

Compensation and Benefits:

<li>Compensation depends on location, experience/skills, overtime: $34.00-$45.00 per hour.</li>
