The Hours
The Machine Operator typically works 3:00 am - 1:00 pm, although that can change slightly depending on the needs of the business.
The Pay
The (Wick) Machine Operator position pays $19.00/hour. During our busy season we anticipate there being some Overtime available. Busy season typically runs from April-July but this can change subject to the needs of the business.

<li> Follows and complies with all safety rules and regulations. Maintains individual work area/equipment in a neat, orderly manner. Detects and reports improper operations, faulty equipment/ tooling, defective materials and unusual conditions to material lead or supervisor.</li>
<li>Will operate 1 or more auto wick machines daily in accordance with production needs.</li>
<li>Review each shop order including wick type, item number, wick length, correct sustainer, and number of wicks per container.</li>
<li>Regularly perform quality inspections of product to ensure shop order specifications are being maintained.</li>
<li>Provide Assistant Supervisor and Wick Technicians with feedback throughout the shift on quality, safety, and mechanical issues.</li>
<li>Maintain the production daily log and appropriate sign-off documentation.</li>
<li>Prepares labels for initial startup and new shop order, pull sample bag for QA department.</li>
<li>Mount and thread wickers with appropriate wick for shop order.</li>
<li>Regularly perform preventative maintenance on wickers.</li>
<li>Responsible for daily updates and continuous track of individual and cumulative down time on wickers.</li>
<li>Scrap material throughout each shop order.</li>
<li>Required daily use of Microsoft office.</li>
<li>Maintain Alene standards of performance and comply with housekeeping, safety policies and procedures.</li>

About The Opportunity
The FSG Mechanic Assistant is responsible for inventory control, job set-up, basic maintenance of tools and equipment, and assisting with repairs of equipment breakdowns in the field with future potential to increase mechanic responsibilities. Has no supervisory responsibility.

Inventory Control:

Starting Pay: $18 - $20/per hour, plus stipends for travel!
Do you have experience in construction? Do you want to learn the drilling and blasting industry with a stable, growing, majority employee-owned company? Individuals must be safety-minded and able to work well outdoors in varying weather environments. Out of town/state travel within New England region (CT, MA, NH, etc.,) and overtime may be required.
Responsibilities:

<li>Must adhere to Company Safety procedures and policies</li>

<li>Submit the following records to Blaster/Foreman on a Weekly basis: Accurate and Signed Time Card</li>
<li>Ability to quickly learn safety aspects of working construction sites and working around explosives</li>
<li>Ability to take direction and perform construction laboring activities</li>
<li>Ability to work unsupervised occasionally</li>
<li>Pump blast holes dry with water pump</li>
<li>Load and unload explosives from truck</li>
<li>Carry buckets of stemming stone to stem blast holes</li>
<li>Maintain clean and organize job site</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
<li>Attend all meetings</li>
<li>Participate in monthly Foreman, periodic safety and job meetings as needed</li>
<li>Participate in daily heads up safety meetings</li>

The Hours
The hours for this position are 6:00 am-4:00 pm, although that can change slightly depending on the needs of the business. We work 10 hour shifts, Monday - Thursday.
During our busy season we anticipate there being some Overtime available. Busy season typically runs from April-July but this can change subject to the needs of the business. 
The Pay
The Material Handler II (Logistics) position pays $19.00/hour.
In addition, we are offering a $1,000 sign on bonus! The first $500 will be paid in your first paycheck and the second $500 will be in your first paycheck after completing 90 days of service.
The Location
We are located at 51 Scarborough Lane, Milford, NH. This position is onsite.

<li>Maintains individual work area/equipment in a neat, orderly manner.</li>
<li>Obtain and maintain proper training for powered industrial trucks. Maintain daily logs.</li>
<li>Detects and reports improper operations, faulty equipment/ tooling, defective materials, and unusual conditions to supervisor.</li>
<li>Use material handling equipment such as hand and powered pallet movers, fork trucks, and some powered packing equipment such as banders and stretch wrap machine.</li>
<li>Use WMS system to keep inventory accurate.</li>
<li>Locate, pick, move and store material and equipment according to established procedures, both written and verbal.</li>
<li>Stretch Wrap pallets.</li>
<li>Maintain proper documentation and records using various paper forms, computer systems, or RF Scan Guns.</li>
<li>Count items and audit pallets for inventory accuracy.</li>
<li>Pick Finished Goods cases per customer order.</li>
<li>Label individual cases as per labeling instructions.</li>
<li>Build pallets per customer specs.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as directed.</li>

Education required:

Range of Experience:

<li>2-5 years’ warehouse experience</li>
<li>2-5 years of experience operating a forklift.</li>
<li>2-5 years of experience operating a power jack</li>
<li>2-5 years of experience operating a riding jack</li>
<li>Experience using a scanning gun.</li>
<li>Experience loading and unloading 53-foot trailers and box trucks.</li>
<li>Experience and understanding of BIN transfers.</li>
