Job Title: Recovery Coach 
Work Location: Springfield, MA

Job Summary:
Gandara is looking for Recovery Coaches for the Emergency Department Program to provide recovery coaching services in hospital emergency departments. Candidates will work and meet with patients admitted to an ED as a result of an opioid overdose or other drug or alcohol-related crisis. They will support patients, family members, and hospital personnel and have demonstrated effectiveness in linking Emergency Department patients with treatment and community-based recovery resources.
Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provides recovery coaching primarily in hospital emergency rooms.</li>
<li>Work closely with Emergency Department personnel and staff.</li>
<li>Facilitate timely referrals and placements from hospital to treatment/recovery support providers. </li>
<li>Connect patients to a larger community of care. </li>
<li>Follow up recovery coaching with ED recoverees as requested.</li>
<li>Engage in recovery planning with recoveree.</li>
<li>Educate and assist family members as requested.</li>
<li>Serve as a recovery ambassador.</li>
<li>Promote the message and services of Gandara.</li>
<li>Participate in ongoing recovery coach training, education, and performance support.</li>
<li>Report writing and record keeping as required by hospitals.</li>
<li>Travel required.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Experience with the addiction recovery process.</li>
<li>Certificate of completion of the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy© or other reputable certification program </li>
<li>Understanding of medication-assisted recovery and practices.</li>
<li>Familiarity with local support services, resources, and recovery community.</li>
<li>Capable of building an effective coach-recoveree relationship.</li>
<li>Demonstrated skill in actively listening, asking good questions, awareness of self, and treating people as resources. </li>
<li>Understanding of and ability to maintain appropriate boundaries. </li>
<li>Certificate of completion of Ethical Considerations for Recovery Coaches© preferred.</li>
<li>Certificate of completion of Spirituality for Recovery Coaches© preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to work within a hospital setting.</li>
<li>Availability to work different shifts as necessary.</li>
<li>Cross-cultural skills and experience with culturally diverse populations.</li>
<li>computer skills including data entry and tracking. </li>

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Registered Behavior Technicians. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with autism.
In this role, you will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about helping children with autism reach their full potential. You will need to be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team environment. We will provide comprehensive training so that you are equipped and empowered to help each child, even if you don't currently have experience. Children can be unpredictable and potentially confrontational, so this role is not for the weak of spirit, mind, or body. Part of the joy of working with kids is exercise! Our clients move, so you need to be comfortable standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and at times carrying children or objects that weigh up to 50 pounds.

Pay Range: $20 - $29
Requirements:

<li>Passionate about helping children with autism.</li>
<li>Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.</li>
<li>18+ years of age</li>
<li> High school diploma or GED</li>
<li> Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year)</li>
<li> Ability to pass a pre employment background check</li>
<li>Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.)</li>
<li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds</li>
<li>Candidates must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding</li>
