The Media Arts Technical Coordinator plays a central role in supporting faculty teaching and student learning by overseeing specialized facilities—including digital labs, analog darkrooms, editing suites, and screening rooms—and managing and circulating a robust inventory of production equipment. DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Maintain and oversee media production and teaching facilities in areas of film, photo, video, animation, and game design (digital labs, darkrooms, editing bays, screening rooms, sound recording areas) to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness.</li>
<li>Manage media equipment inventory, check-out systems, and equipment repairs/maintenance in collaboration with Library Access Services.</li>
<li>Assist faculty and students with technical support for projects and courses.</li>

The Software Solutions Manager partners closely with the Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) to define and execute a strategic software vision aligned with the mission and goals of NHRS. This position is responsible for operationally contributing to software lifecycle from planning and selection through implementation, documentation, and transition to support, ensuring reliability, performance, and security across all applications and manages the financial aspects of project execution.
The Software Solutions Manger provides strategic and hands-on leadership to the Software Solutions team, balancing oversight with direct involvement in technical and operational work. This position collaborates with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
The Software Solutions Manager oversees the Project Management Office (PMO) providing oversite to various process related and software implementation projects, while maintaining the project portfolio and intake system.

Minimum of five years’ experience in application development or management, with a strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, best practices and managing technical and business personnel. Experience leading a team, with a focus on mentoring and fostering collaboration.
Certifications: Certifications related to project management such as PMP are a plus.
License: Valid driver’s license preferred.

IT Software Solutions Manager

MERL is looking for a highly motivated intern to work on an original research project on audio-visual learning, with a focus on spatial audio, training models using limited labeled data. A strong background in computer vision, audio processing, and deep learning is required. Experience in audio-visual (multimodal) learning, weakly/self-supervised learning, Room Impulse Response (RIR) estimation, and large (vision-) language models is an added plus and will be valued. The successful candidate is expected to have published at least one paper in a top-tier computer vision or machine learning venue, such as CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, or AAAI, and possess solid programming skills in Python and popular deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch. The intern will collaborate with MERL researchers to develop and implement novel algorithms and prepare manuscripts for scientific publications.
