 POSITION SUMMARY: Sugarbush Resort is seeking a Snowmaking Manager for our snowmaking department. As an experienced snowmaker, the Snowmaking Manager oversees the on-hill staff as well as the control room including 2 supervisors, 8 shift leaders of 4 or more crew members in coordinating the team's mission to deliver the highest quality of snow and an exceptional guest experience. This position of responsibility provides leadership in training, planning, and directing crew activity. This is a full-time year-round salary position. RESPONSIBILITIES: 
<ul>
<li>Strategic planning of program to ensure maximum snow production and quality assurance. Organization and managing systems for mechanical plant and personnel to achieve production and quantity goals.</li>
<li>Troubleshooting of equipment system problems and diagnostic of repair.</li>
<li>Planning and design of snowmaking infrastructure, new and retrofit.</li>
<li>Oversee departmental training and development.</li>
<li>Supervisory responsibilities include planning and assigning work, training, evaluating job performance, interviewing, hiring, disciplining, firing, and recommending wages/salaries.</li>
<li>Ensure the capability of snowmaking operations including mechanical readiness, proper staffing and training, and proper deployment.</li>
<li>Manage and track the costs of operations, particularly energy consumption and operational performance.</li>
<li>Assist in planning of future snowmaking expansion and design.</li>
<li>Manage, repair and do preventive maintenance of the snowmaking system as it is expected to perform at maximum production at all times in terms of quantity.</li>
<li>Snow product is expected to be consistent on all trails, dry and evenly laid.</li>

 QUALIFICATIONS:

<li>Applicants must have previous snowmaking experience.</li>
<li>High school education or equivalency degree required, BA or BS preferred.</li>
<li>Technical training in mechanics, engineering or a related technical field, plus 4-6 years of relevant construction and/or engineering experience.</li>
<li>Supervisory experience required.</li>
<li>Broad base of mechanical and heavy construction knowledge and skills relevant to snowmaking, including drilling, blasting and excavation. Welding, materials handling, operation and maintenance of pumps, compressors and similar equipment.</li>
<li>Ability to work cooperatively with a wide variety of company personnel.</li>
<li>Have good planning, administrative and supervisory skills, along with math and budget skills.</li>
<li>Must have valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.</li>
<li>Must be able to work long hours, outdoors, overnights and be exposed to the elements.</li>
<li>Must be physically able to move/operate equipment and able to lift 50-100lbs worth of equipment.</li>

How you will make an impact
<ul>
<li>Facilitate structured and impromptu programs for residents in common areas and rooms using independent judgment</li>
<li>Escort residents on group trips and excursions, ensuring their safety</li>
<li>Collaborate with team members, management, and volunteers to deliver engaging programs and activities</li>
<li>Monitor and report changes in residents’ needs and preferences to the Programming Manager</li>
<li>Manage program supplies and equipment, ensuring functionality and safety</li>
<li>Participate in team discussions on programming, schedules, and resident issues</li>
<li>Prepare and implement activity programs based on the Program Manager’s guidance</li>
<li>Lead and set up both group and individual activities, motivating and assisting participants</li>
</ul>
What you will need
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the geriatric population or in related professional fields (e.g., educators, social workers, rehab professionals); education may substitute for experience</li>
<li>Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Activities Assistant in a licensed health care facility or related experience through college coursework and internships is preferred</li>
<li>Experience leading groups with varying levels of physical and cognitive independence is preferred</li>
<li>Flexible work schedule, including weekends and evenings, is required</li>

Job Description Description:Memory Care Activities Assistant- Assisted LivingFull Time 32 Hours11:00am-7:30pm (including Saturdays) 
Notre Dame Healthcare- Du Lac Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate and energetic Memory Care Activities Assistant to join our Assisted Living. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about working with seniors, particularly those with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. The Memory Care Activities Assistant will support the development and implementation of engaging activities that enhance the quality of life for residents in our memory care unit. This position requires creativity, patience, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
 
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of daily activities and programs tailored to residents' needs and abilities.</li>
<li>Support the memory care unit in creating a warm, supportive, and engaging environment that promotes social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being.</li>
<li>Lead individual or group activities such as arts and crafts, music therapy, exercise sessions, games, sensory stimulation, and reminiscence therapy.</li>
<li>Observe and document residents' responses to activities and report any significant changes in behavior to the Memory Care Activities Director and team.</li>
<li>Provide one-on-one support to residents who may need assistance or encouragement to participate in activities.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other team members, including nursing and care staff, to ensure residents' overall care needs are met.</li>
<li>Assist with resident transportation to and from activities, including in common areas and outdoor spaces.</li>
<li>Support family members by providing updates on activities and engaging them in opportunities for involvement.</li>
<li>Ensure a safe and clean environment by maintaining activity supplies, equipment, and spaces used for activities.</li>
<li>Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines for memory care residents.</li>

Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Previous Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living experience preferred.</li>
<li>Previous experience in memory care or working with individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other cognitive impairments is preferred.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage residents in meaningful ways.</li>
<li>Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding when working with seniors, especially those with memory loss or behavioral challenges.</li>
<li>Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to adapt activities for individuals with varying levels of cognitive abilities.</li>
<li>Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a positive, proactive attitude.</li>
<li>Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.</li>
<li>Hours for the position are Full Time (32 Hours): 11:00am - 7:30pm (including Saturdays) </li>
