Job DescriptionShipping & Receiving Associate

Location: Devens, MA

Pay: $22-$24/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime as needed)

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our manufacturing team in Devens, MA. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining organized inventory and warehouse operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing warehouse experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Unload trucks and safely store incoming materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment according to customer orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Ensure lot numbers, revision levels, and serial numbers are properly tracked.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and sales teams to resolve shipment or inventory discrepancies.
  • Keep the shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Use inventory systems and computers to process shipping and receiving transactions.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics required; manufacturing experience is a must.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately count, label, document, and verify shipments.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and inventory/ERP systems.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise while maintaining strong attention to detail and visual accuracy.
