SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYSupervises and provides work directions to carpenter’s assistants and subcontractors on job site. &nbsp;Must be comfortable overseeing a job site as a representative of the general contractor.WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe position requires lifting heavy objects, walking, and standing for extended periods of time, and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. &nbsp;The work will be performed on and off the jobsite which requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, reach, carry, lift, grasp, squat or stoop, bend, and twist the body while performing essential duties.&nbsp; The position requires using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk or hear.&nbsp; The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.&nbsp; The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs. &nbsp;The employee must have excellent stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time.&nbsp; The work will be performed indoors and outdoors in all seasons, including harsh weather conditions.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to do this job.
