As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for commercial installations and repairs, executing service and maintenance contracts, and should be proficient in troubleshooting refrigerant-based systems, electrical and installation. We are looking for a technician who can work independently on projects and take initiative when necessary.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Diagnose problems and make repairs.</li>
<li>Repair heating and air conditioning systems.</li>
<li>Test systems to ensure proper operation.</li>
<li>Install and repair gas, oil, and electric furnaces, condensing units, heat pumps, and any other heating or cooling equipment.</li>
<li>Test all safety devices on gas furnaces.</li>
<li>Install, repair and maintain domestic water heaters.</li>
<li>Isolate faults in electrical circuits using testing and reading electrical schematics.</li>
<li>Be familiar with different types of HVAC systems.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>3 years experience HVAC</li>
<li>EPA Type II license</li>
<li>Available to work weekends on a revolving schedule</li>
<li>10 hour shifts </li>
<li>2 shifts available Sun - Wed or Wed - Sat 7am-5:30pm</li>
<li>On call during scheduled shift</li>

<li>Be willing to work as a team with other HVAC Technicians and learn from their expertise.</li>
<li>Able to keep detailed notes and invoices.</li>

Requirements:

<li>Be a graduate of a licensed HVAC training school.</li>

<li>EPA Certification is required.</li>

<li>Basic knowledge A.C. and furnace components.</li>
<li>1+ yrs. of installation experience is ideal.</li>
<li>Understand basic tools and identify parts.</li>
<li>Detailed oriented, great detailed notes and communication skills.</li>
<li>Work to continuously grow your technical skills.</li>
<li>Tablet proficiency.</li>
