Possess BLS and ACLS for care of adult patients; NRP and PALS for care of newborn and pediatric patients, and run codes together with ED physician on duty.

*After normal business hours (during assigned shift), provides phone coverage for community’s primary care practice (Coos County Family Health Services), including calls from patients/families, 2 local nursing homes (CCFHS serves as attending for all such residents), home health agencies, and pharmacies.

Staffing, schedule, and clinical workload:

Qualifications: Candidates must have certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA). One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred. Key Responsibilities:

<li>Maintaining their health and safety at home through providing high quality personal care, and monitoring their environment for safety risks</li>
<li>Follow an individualized, written Plan of Care to support our clients with personal hygiene, ambulation and exercise, eating, dressing, shaving, physical transfer, and other duties as assigned.</li>

Hours: Dependent on specific case(s); Shifts available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and based on availability. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.
