<li>Interview and examine patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders as indicated by their individual care plan.</li>
<li>Monitor physiological responses to therapy, such as vital signs as indicated.</li>
<li>Provide education to patients with oxygen, CPAP, BIPAP, and other respiratory equipment for complex respiratory diagnoses (excluding ventilators).</li>

<li>ResMed ST-A (with iVAPs)</li>
<li>Suction</li>

<ul>
<li>Perform testing and preventive maintenance on respiratory equipment in patients’ residence.</li>
<li>Instruct patients, caregivers, physicians, and physicians’ staff on the proper use of respiratory equipment and necessary cleaning requirements.</li>
<li>Serve as liaison between patient and other members of the health care team when required.</li>
<li>Consult with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.</li>
<li>Deliver/pick up equipment and/or supplies to patients’ homes as necessary.</li>
<li>Contact physician and/or necessary health care team member regarding orders, complications and recommendations.</li>
<li>Evaluate respiratory equipment for home use.</li>
<li>Participate in mandatory in-services and other trainings as scheduled.</li>
<li>Keep all financial and patient information confidential, in accordance with company mandate and HIPAA security standards.</li>
<li>Complete patient files and paperwork as per current policies.</li>
<li>Regular rotation for on-call services with expectation of answering any on-call within 15 minutes or less and responding physically to emergencies within the assigned service area as quickly as possible.</li>

Qualifications
 
<ul>
<li>21 years of age or older</li>
<li>Must be eligible to work in the United States and not require work authorization from us now or in the future</li>
<li>Valid US driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations or at fault accidents within the last 3 years</li>
<li>Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)-accredited respiratory therapy degree program with associate degree (AS, AAS) or a bachelor's degree (BS) and appropriate licensure.</li>
<li>Must be currently licensed and in good standing with the Licensure Board of Registration of the state of practice</li>
<li>Must possess RRT, RCP, CRTT credentials</li>
<li>Valid state(s) Respiratory Care license</li>
