Summary

Haigh-Farr is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to become a part of a corporate contracts team supporting Haigh-Farr. The Contracts Manager will support through every aspect of the contract lifecycle and act as a valued team member to program management, business development and leaders across Haigh-Farr.
This position will be embedded in a mission focused operations group and responsible for supporting business development and program teams in proposal activity, as well as providing contract management and administrative support for multiple commercial/non-commercial, prime contracts/subcontracts within various Business Units. The Contracts Manager must be a team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide strategic direction, leadership guidance, and functional expertise to a team of contracts professionals while escalating up high level issues and keeping leadership informed. Act as a lead for conflict resolution of contract issues, while mentoring and training team members for similar results</li>
<li>Perform contract management and administrative duties throughout the contract lifecycle including, but not limited to, proposal review and preparation, leading pre and post award negotiations, executing contract modifications, initiating contract close-outs and providing overall program support for complex, multi-year contracts.</li>
<li>Lead contract negotiations with variety of customers, mainly DoD and various Industry partners</li>
<li>Manage and mentor other Contracts Professionals and advise Program Managers and Business Leaders</li>
<li>Responsible for ensuring that agreements/terms and conditions comply with all applicable regulations and requirements, while also adhering to company policies.</li>
<li>Advise and provide guidance to leadership on contractual rights, obligations and provide contract interpretation of terms and conditions, while providing risk mitigation strategies</li>
<li>Proactively engage with program teams and customers to ensure that programs are executing to contract requirements, managing scope, and mitigating risks throughout contract execution</li>
<li>Ensure that terms and conditions comply with all contract requirements, internal policies and all Federal, State and applicable laws.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization, including regular senior management level briefings on key issues.</li>

Requirements:
Knowledge &amp; Skills:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field) is required or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in contract management in the DoD/Intelligence community.</li>
<li>Minimum of 15 + years of directly relevant experience; At least 3+ years’ experience in a leadership role.</li>
<li>SECRET clearance</li>
<li>Significant senior level experience in directly related DoD/Federal prime government contract administration/management,</li>
<li>Background working full spectrum of contract types</li>
<li>Majority of career spent in Aerospace &amp; Defense Contracts organization</li>

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Administrative Assistant to join our California law office. The successful candidate will provide vital administrative support to attorneys and legal staff, ensuring the efficient operation of daily activities in a fast-paced legal environment. This position is a hybrid role, allowing for both remote and in-office work in our Boston office location. Standard hours are 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm EST, but scheduling can be flexible to accommodate individual needs. Key Responsibilities
· Assist attorneys with drafting, proofreading, and filing legal documents and correspondence.
· Manage client communications, including scheduling meetings, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
· Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files in compliance with California legal standards.
· Coordinate calendar appointments, court dates, and deadlines for attorneys and staff.
· Process incoming and outgoing mail, including service of process and legal filings.
· Prepare and submit court documents through electronic filing systems (e.g., e-Filing for California courts).
· File, organize, scan, copy and e-fax legal documents and other mailings in a timely manner
· Conduct basic legal research and gather information relevant to cases under attorney supervision.
