Job Description
About the Role:
 
Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure that plant equipment, machinery, and facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
Implement and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability and performance.
Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance the efficiency, sustainability, and operational lifespan of plant equipment.
 
Key Responsibilities may include:
<ul>
<li>Develop and manage a robust preventive maintenance program to ensure timely and effective maintenance, reducing equipment downtime and improving overall plant efficiency.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, actively enforcing corporate Zero Harm policies and conducting regular safety checks on equipment and building services.</li>
<li>Implement process reliability systems and lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at achieving equipment reliability and efficiency targets.</li>
<li>Manage the procurement, inventory, and budget control of spare parts and consumables, ensuring effective stock management to support maintenance activities.</li>
<li>Lead and support capital expenditure projects related to equipment upgrades, new installations, and plant improvements, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.</li>
<li>Monitor and optimize the use of utilities such as electricity, gas, and water, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.</li>
<li>Ensure plant compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate standards through regular safety audits, equipment testing, and asset management processes.</li>
<li>Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team, ensuring adequate staffing, training, and performance management to meet the operational needs of the plant.</li>
</ul>
Equipment Types

<li>Material Handling Conveyance such as chain conveyors, roller conveyors, belt conveyors and robotics.</li>
<li>Vision systems</li>
<li>Demand paint system and ink jets for stenciling</li>
</ul>
Essential Qualifications
<ul>
<li>HNC Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.</li>
<li>Desirable Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline desirable</li>
</ul>
Experience/Skills &amp; Knowledge
<ul>
<li>2-3 years in Management experience in an engineering or maintenance role preferably in the FMCG sector</li>
<li>Knowledge of the Budgeting (control) and CAPEX process</li>
<li>Knowledge of OEE and reliability systems</li>
<li>CQV Process</li>
<li>Project Management</li>
<li>Microsoft Project as a scheduling tool</li>

Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic entry level Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. This position will work within the Electrical Engineering team to design and develop electrical hardware for ongoing and upcoming new product development efforts at DEKA.
How you will make an impact:
<ul>
<li>Working with in interdisciplinary team to develop innovative hardware solutions for new medical products from Concept through Production stage.</li>
<li>Designing and developing complex analog and digital electrical circuit schematics and layout for printed circuit assemblies.</li>
<li>Developing functional design requirements and specifications.</li>
<li>Selecting circuit board components including discrete and integrated circuit parts based on analysis of specifications.</li>
<li>Testing and troubleshooting circuits and systems with hardware/ software tools and fixtures.</li>
<li>Developing prototype circuit designs and developing test fixtures.</li>
<li>Perform circuit simulation and modeling to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.</li>
<li>Carry out detailed &nbsp;Design Verification activities and documentation of methods and results.</li>
<li>Developing firmware code on embedded platforms with low level programming interface.</li>
<li>Demonstrating ability to multitask and switch gears as and when necessary in a fast paced environment.</li>

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

<li>Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.</li>
<li>Coursework in Analog and Digital Circuit design, Microprocessor Programming.</li>
<li>1+ years of experience in&nbsp; Product design or development.</li>
<li>Background in design and analysis of analog and digital circuits.</li>
<li>Ability to model circuits using tools such as Matlab and Pspice.</li>
<li>Writing test scripts in Python.</li>
<li>Microprocessor programming in C/C++ language.</li>
<li>Schematic capture and layout using CAD tools such as Orcad or Altium.</li>
<li>Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues and arrive at the root cause.</li>
<li>Clear and crisp communication, both verbal and written.</li>
<li>Good presentation skills.</li>
