Role Description
This listing is for a part-time Tour Guide located in Boston, MA. You will be responsible for conducting guided tours, communicating effectively, providing excellent customer service, sharing historical insights, and promoting our other offerings. In this role, you will lead group walking tours, step-on bus tours, private tours, and shore excursions in Boston and its surrounding area. These tours are between two and eight hours and take place all over Boston, as well as day trips to cities such as Lexington &amp; Concord and Salem.
This position requires driving various vehicles. Our in-house vehicles are a Toyota Sienna minivan and a Ford Transit-150 passenger van. Guides must be willing and able to drive both of these vehicles, and any new vehicles the company may purchase, rent, or lease (a standard driver’s license is all that is required, and practice time will be available on all vehicle classes before leading tours).
Note that hours may vary week-to-week and will fluctuate seasonally, although we do our best to announce schedules early and work around your availability. All guides will be required to have at least one regularly-scheduled weekly group tour (3-4 hours, walking), and availability for one ad-hoc private tour, but may have more if they wish and we have the bookings, especially during busy season. Private tours (4-8 hours, driving or step-on bus) are otherwise assigned on a rotating basis as bookings come in. Students and anyone with other part-time jobs or commitments are welcome to apply, as long as you can meet these requirements and can keep your availability calendar regularly updated. Our group walking tours are busiest in the summer, while our private tours and large groups (shore excursions, conferences &amp; events, etc) peak in September &amp; October.
No previous experience is required, only public speaking skills and a passion for history and quirky stories
Interview Process
This is a two-round process. The first round will be a video call to discuss the role and your experience. The second round is in-person and usually scheduled for 4-7 days later, during which time you will be asked to prepare a 10-15 minute tour of an area of Boston. Notes and locations will be provided; the goal is to see how you operate as a tour guide. During the second round, you will first sit down with your interviewer to discuss tour logistics and any other questions, then you will give your sample tour.

Main Focus will be on presenting treatment plans, keeping the Dr's schedule full and maintaining office productivity. The best candidate for this position must have experience in sales! 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Greet and check in patients in a friendly manner</li>
<li>Collect co-payments and verify insurance coverage</li>
<li>Treatment planning and coordinating to promote high-case acceptance</li>
<li>Review and maintain schedules for productivity</li>
<li>Schedule and confirm patient appointments</li>
<li>Prepare new patient records neatly and accurately</li>
<li>Various office duties as assigned by Practice Management. </li>
<li>Responding to patient financial inquiries and directing to appropriate departments, as necessary</li>

As a Salary.com Front Desk Administrative Assistant you will perform a variety of administrative tasks and support all of our employees, manage our office space and corporate vendors. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have great time management skills and be able to act without guidance. Ultimately, you will contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing personalized and timely support to all of our employees.

<li>Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 2:30pm </li>
<li>Base Salary: $17.00/hour to $20.00/hour</li>

A Day in the Life...
<ul>
<li>Handles a wide range of administrative and support tasks</li>
<li>Act as the on-site point of contact for all executives, employees, clients, and other external partners including on-site event planning and day of management</li>
<li>Greet all visitors and provide a hospitable welcome</li>
<li>Track daily expenses and prepare weekly, monthly, or quarterly reports</li>
<li>Plans and executes company events</li>
<li>Act as a Front Desk Administrative Assistant by keeping up with office supply inventory and basic facilities management</li>
<li>Independently initiates and implements processes and efficiencies to manage projects, information, and influence people</li>
<li>Format information for internal and external communication - memos, emails, presentations, reports</li>
<li>Organize and maintain the office mailing and filing systems</li>
</ul>
About You...
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>1 - 2 years of work experience as a Front Desk Administrative Assistant, Office Assistant or similar role</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Proficient in using MS Office </li>
<li>Outstanding organizational and time management skills</li>
<li>Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment </li>
