THE POSITION:
We are looking for a candidate who can deliver compassionate client service in a fast-paced environment for people looking to adopt or surrender. In the AWS role, you are often the first point of contact for pet families in need. You will spend part of your day hands-on with the animals at the adoption center and part of the day assisting the public with adoptions and surrenders.
The Animal Welfare Specialist position at MSPCA-Angell offers a clear path for professional development through three progressive levels: AWS, AWS 2, and Lead AWS. A well-established and growing civil litigation firm with offices in Massachusetts and New Hampshire is looking to add an experienced trial attorney to its team. The firm has built its reputation on strong courtroom advocacy, professionalism, and a collaborative culture, and its litigation practice continues to expand.
This position is best suited for a seasoned civil litigator who is comfortable trying cases and taking full ownership of matters from start to finish. Attorneys who have served as New Hampshire prosecutors are especially encouraged to apply, as that background often reflects substantial courtroom time, witness management, and familiarity with New Hampshire courts.
This role is not a fit for attorneys whose experience is primarily motion practice, hearings only, or second-chair trial work.
The attorney in this position will act as first-chair trial counsel on civil matters and will independently handle cases in New Hampshire courts.
